Wander
Wander is a neighbourhood restaurant inspired by the travels of Australian chef-owner Alexis Noble. After spending its first 7 years in Stoke Newington, London Alexis decided to return home and Wander can now be found in Woolooware, Sydney.
With an ever-changing menu designed to share, that adapts daily depending on the availability of produce, guests can wander through the inspirations from Alexiss recent travels, food memories and delicious experiments.
Wander’s food is clever, detailed and bold; making it a quintessential casual fine-dining restaurant.

Alexis grew up in Cronulla, Australia, and after working at a number of high-end restaurants in Sydney, the allure of travel captured her. Whilst working & researching in Europe, America and Asia, Alexis realised she wanted to open her first restaurant in London. After 7 amazing years in Stoke Newington, the proximity to family and warmer weather of Cronulla convinced Alexis to return home.
When Wander closed in 2024, it was always Alexis' intention to bring Wander back home to Cronulla. In 2026 she found the perfect little space in Woolooware to bring Wander back to life.
